In order to make a comprehensive summary of the management and operation in 2021, and make a strategic plan of the company’s future, Hailiang held the meeting of annual report on the work from February 15th to 17th. The company's chairman and general manager Zhu Zhangquan, deputy general manager Dong Zhiqiang, Wang Sheng, Sun Hongjun and heads of all the units and functional departments attended this meeting, and those who were in other provinces or in the bases abroad made their reports on the work through video link.

At the beginning of the meeting, Zhu Zhangquan stressed that 2022 will be an extremely important year for the development of Hailiang. This meeting has not only made a comprehensive summary of the past work but also a plan of the future goals. Therefore, he hoped that all heads of departments could present a comprehensive and high-quality report. All attendees should stick to the truth and listen to the reports of others in a serious and responsible attitude, giving fair and heartful assessments, to spot highlights and rectify weaknesses, from part to a whole, without avoiding conflicts and covering problems, making the meeting take effect.
During the meeting, speakers gave summaries and reported execution while the audiences talked about achievements and faults. In the three-day meeting, based on the company’s future plan, there were all together 25 heads of units and departments summarizing the operation situation of 2021 to analyze the existing problems in the work and make a detailed plan of key jobs in the coming three years. Ten functional departments submitted their materials according to the requirements. Attendees actively expressed their opinions on relevant issues of the reports, searched for the best solutions through communication, and learned how to improve efficiency from other departments, so they could accelerate the company's pace of development in a concerted effort. Zhu Zhangquan made a detailed comment on the contents of the report of each unit and department, fully affirmed the highlights of the work in the past year, pointed out the deficiencies in the work, and put forward clear requirements for future development.
