Recently, the Party Secretary of Shaoxing Municipal Committee, Wen Nuan, and his delegation conducted a research visit to Hailiang’s Thailand base. Wang Lihong, the Chairman and Party Secretary of Hailiang Group, accompanied them on the visit.
A delegation led by Wen Nuan visited the production line in Hailiang’s Thailand base. Based on localized operations, the company actively explored the practice of technological innovation in the factory by continuously sharing refined management and preparation technology experiences. In line with “Hailiang Solution”, it improved production efficiency, optimized energy consumption and emissions, and promoted cultural integration.
Wen Nuan pointed out that Hailiang’s Thailand base was their first destination, where they appreciated the company’s alignment with the trend of the times, its courage to explore the blue ocean and its pursuit of excellence. Hailiang is a practitioner and beneficiary of “the Belt and Road Initiative”, so it should contribute more to the construction of “the Belt and Road Initiative” by taking on its responsibility and gathering more power for high-quality development. The Shaoxing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government will, as always, support overseas Zhejiang businessmen, becoming their strongest backing and warmest harbor.
Wang Lihong emphasized the significance of Thailand as a crucial country along “the Belt and Road initiative” and a vital economic and trade partner of Shaoxing in Asia. Hailiang’s Thailand base has been developed for over seven years and is the first copper tube enterprise in Southeast Asia to use the continuous casting and rolling process. Their high-quality seamless copper tubes, including internal threaded tubes and light tubes, have received widespread recognition from customers. Looking ahead, Hailiang Group will grasp new market opportunities to establish a renowned manufacturing brand for Zhejiang businesses, and further contribute to the high-quality joint construction of “the Belt and Road initiative” by actively implementing the “sweet potato economy” theory and prioritizing internationalization strategy.
